Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh
Visakhapatnam is an administrative district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The district is located about 430 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Visakhapatnam. Telugu is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 11,161 km², including 10,528.84 km² of rural area and 632.16 km² of urban area.
