Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh

Vizianagaram is an administrative district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The district is located about 490 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Vizianagaram. Telugu and Odia are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 6,539 km², including 6,398.94 km² of rural area and 140.06 km² of urban area.
