Araria

Araria is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Araria is 2,830 km² including 2,778.93 km² rural area and 51.07 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Araria has a population of 28,11,569 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,68,777 while rural population is 26,42,792. Araria has a sex ratio of approximately 921 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 993 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,68,142 houses in the district, including 32,781 urban houses and 5,35,361 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 716 villages in araria district.
