Banka District, Bihar
Banka is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 220 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Banka. Hindi, Maithili and Santhali are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,020 km², including 2,989.95 km² of rural area and 30.05 km² of urban area.
