Bhagalpur District, Bihar
Bhagalpur is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 250 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Bhagalpur. Hindi, Maithili and Bengali are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,569 km², including 2,499.90 km² of rural area and 69.10 km² of urban area.
