Madhepura District, Bihar
Madhepura is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 220 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Madhepura. Hindi and Maithili are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,788 km², including 1,746.83 km² of rural area and 41.17 km² of urban area.
