Janjgir-Champa District, Chhattisgarh

Janjgir-Champa is an administrative district in Chhattisgarh, India. The district is located about 140 km from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Its administrative headquarters is in Janjgir. Hindi and Chhattisgarhi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,853 km², including 3,647.63 km² of rural area and 205.37 km² of urban area.
