Jashpur

Jashpur is a district in the Chhattisgarh State of India. Total area of Jashpur is 5,838 km² including 5,759.09 km² rural area and 78.91 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Jashpur has a population of 8,51,669 peoples, out of which urban population is 75,992 while rural population is 7,75,677. Jashpur has a sex ratio of approximately 1005 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 145.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,92,570 houses in the district, including 16,538 urban houses and 1,76,032 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 754 villages in jashpur district.
