Jashpur District, Chhattisgarh

Jashpur District is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated about 300 km from Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh. The district headquarters is located at Jashpur Nagar. Hindi, Sadri and Oraon (tribal) are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,838 km², including 5,759.09 km² of rural area and 78.91 km² of urban area.
