Raipur District is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The district headquarters is located at Raipur. Hindi and Chhattisgarhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 12,383 km², including 11,878.48 km² of rural area and 504.52 km² of urban area.
