Dhamtari District, Chhattisgarh

Dhamtari District is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated about 75 km from Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh. The district headquarters is located at Dhamtari. Hindi and Chhattisgarhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,084 km², including 3,985.51 km² of rural area and 98.49 km² of urban area.
