Panchkula District, Haryana

Panchkula District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 15 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Panchkula. Hindi, Haryanvi and Punjabi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 898 km², including 827.51 km² of rural area and 70.49 km² of urban area.
