Sonipat District, Haryana

Sonipat District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 210 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Sonipat. Hindi and Haryanvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,122 km², including 2,039.99 km² of rural area and 82.01 km² of urban area.
