Yamunanagar District, Haryana

Yamunanagar District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 70 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Yamunanagar. Hindi, Haryanvi and Punjabi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,768 km², including 1,676.64 km² of rural area and 91.36 km² of urban area.
