Bandipora District, Jammu And Kashmir

Bandipora District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 55 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Bandipore. Kashmiri and Shina are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 345 km², including 295.37 km² of rural area and 49.63 km² of urban area.
