Kupwara District, Jammu And Kashmir
Kupwara District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 100 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Kupwara. Kashmiri and Shina are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,379 km², including 2,331.66 km² of rural area and 47.34 km² of urban area.
