Kupwara District, Jammu And Kashmir
Kupwara is an administrative district in Jammu And Kashmir, India. The district is located about 100 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. Its administrative headquarters is in Kupwara. Kashmiri and Shina are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,379 km², including 2,331.66 km² of rural area and 47.34 km² of urban area.
