Budgam District, Jammu And Kashmir

Budgam is an administrative district in Jammu And Kashmir, India. The district is located about 15 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. Its administrative headquarters is in Budgam. Kashmiri and Urdu are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,361 km², including 1,311.95 km² of rural area and 49.05 km² of urban area.
