Pulwama District, Jammu And Kashmir

Pulwama District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 40 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Pulwama. Kashmiri and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,086 km², including 1,047.45 km² of rural area and 38.55 km² of urban area.
