Jammu District, Jammu And Kashmir
Jammu District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 300 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Jammu. Dogri, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,342 km², including 2,089.87 km² of rural area and 252.13 km² of urban area.
