Jammu District, Jammu And Kashmir
Jammu is an administrative district in Jammu And Kashmir, India. The district is located about 300 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. Its administrative headquarters is in Jammu. Dogri, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,342 km², including 2,089.87 km² of rural area and 252.13 km² of urban area.
