Samba District, Jammu And Kashmir

Samba District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 325 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Samba. Dogri, Punjabi and Hindi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 904 km², including 865.24 km² of rural area and 38.76 km² of urban area.
