Garhwa District, Jharkhand
Garhwa District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 170 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Garhwa. Hindi, Pahari and Oraon are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,093 km², including 4,053.50 km² of rural area and 39.50 km² of urban area.
