Latehar District, Jharkhand
Latehar is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 100 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Latehar. Hindi, Oraon and Mundari are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,291 km², including 4,251.92 km² of rural area and 39.08 km² of urban area.
