Palamu District, Jharkhand
Palamu District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 150 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Daltonganj. Hindi, Oraon and Chero are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,393 km², including 4,308.56 km² of rural area and 84.44 km² of urban area.
