Lohardaga District, Jharkhand

Lohardaga District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 70 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Lohardaga. Hindi and Oraon are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,502 km², including 1,466.80 km² of rural area and 35.20 km² of urban area.
