Ranchi District, Jharkhand
Ranchi District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. The district headquarters is located at Ranchi. Hindi, Oraon, Mundari and Santhali are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,097 km², including 4,816.02 km² of rural area and 280.98 km² of urban area.
