Saraikela Kharsawan District, Jharkhand

Saraikela Kharsawan District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 100 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Seraikela. Hindi, Odia, Santhali and Ho are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,657 km², including 2,587.75 km² of rural area and 69.25 km² of urban area.
