West Singhbhum District, Jharkhand
West Singhbhum District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 160 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Chaibasa. Hindi, Ho, Mundari and Odia are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,224 km², including 7,110.08 km² of rural area and 113.92 km² of urban area.
