Khunti District, Jharkhand

Khunti District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 40 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Khunti. Hindi, Mundari and Ho are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,535 km², including 2,500.70 km² of rural area and 34.30 km² of urban area.
