Ramgarh District, Jharkhand

Ramgarh District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 55 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Ramgarh. Hindi and Santhali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,341 km², including 1,164.93 km² of rural area and 176.07 km² of urban area.
