Bokaro District, Jharkhand
Bokaro is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 95 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Bokaro. Hindi, Bengali and Santhali are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,883 km², including 2,446.21 km² of rural area and 436.79 km² of urban area.
