Mandya District, Karnataka

Mandya District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 100 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Mandya. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,962 km², including 4,905.32 km² of rural area and 56.68 km² of urban area.
