Mysuru District, Karnataka

Mysuru District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 150 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Mysore. Kannada and Tamil are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,307 km², including 6,099.23 km² of rural area and 207.77 km² of urban area.
