Kodagu District, Karnataka

Kodagu District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 265 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Madikeri. Kodava Takk, Kannada and Malayalam are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,102 km², including 4,075.40 km² of rural area and 26.60 km² of urban area.
