Ashoknagar District, Madhya Pradesh

Ashoknagar District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 160 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Ashoknagar. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,674 km², including 4,611.46 km² of rural area and 62.54 km² of urban area.
