Vidisha District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 60 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Vidisha. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,371 km², including 7,274.91 km² of rural area and 96.09 km² of urban area.
