Raisen District, Madhya Pradesh
Raisen District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 50 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Raisen. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,466 km², including 8,237.63 km² of rural area and 228.37 km² of urban area.
