Vidisha

Vidisha is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Vidisha is 7,371 km² including 7,274.91 km² rural area and 96.09 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Vidisha has a population of 14,58,875 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,39,618 while rural population is 11,19,257. Vidisha has a sex ratio of approximately 895 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 197.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,99,676 houses in the district, including 67,513 urban houses and 2,32,163 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,536 villages in vidisha district.
