Amravati District, Maharashtra
Amravati is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 560 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Amravati. Marathi is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 12,210 km², including 11,967.64 km² of rural area and 242.36 km² of urban area.
