Wardha District, Maharashtra

Wardha is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 760 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Wardha. Marathi is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 6,309 km², including 6,219.99 km² of rural area and 89.01 km² of urban area.
