Chandrapur District, Maharashtra
Chandrapur District is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated about 780 km from Mumbai, the state capital of Maharashtra. The district headquarters is located at Chandrapur. Marathi, Hindi and Gondi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 11,443 km², including 11,152.40 km² of rural area and 290.60 km² of urban area.
