Bhandara District, Maharashtra

Bhandara District is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated about 750 km from Mumbai, the state capital of Maharashtra. The district headquarters is located at Bhandara. Marathi, Hindi and Gondi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,087 km², including 4,014.66 km² of rural area and 72.34 km² of urban area.
