Sindhudurg is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 510 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Oros. Marathi and Konkani are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 5,207 km², including 5,142.71 km² of rural area and 64.29 km² of urban area.
