Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra
Ratnagiri is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 350 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Ratnagiri. Marathi and Konkani are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 8,208 km², including 8,089.83 km² of rural area and 118.17 km² of urban area.
