Pune District, Maharashtra
Pune District is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated about 150 km from Mumbai, the state capital of Maharashtra. The district headquarters is located at Pune. Marathi, Hindi and English are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 15,643 km², including 14,826.80 km² of rural area and 816.20 km² of urban area.
