Pune District, Maharashtra
Pune is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 150 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Pune. Marathi, Hindi and English are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 15,643 km², including 14,826.80 km² of rural area and 816.20 km² of urban area.
