Solapur District, Maharashtra
Solapur is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 400 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Solapur. Marathi and Kannada are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 14,895 km², including 14,531.91 km² of rural area and 363.09 km² of urban area.
