West Garo Hills

West Garo Hills is a district in the Meghalaya State of India. Total area of West Garo Hills is 3,677 km² including 3,658.68 km² rural area and 18.32 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, West Garo Hills has a population of 6,43,291 peoples, out of which urban population is 74,858 while rural population is 5,68,433. West Garo Hills has a sex ratio of approximately 984 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 174.9 inhabitants per square kilometre.
