West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya

West Khasi Hills District is an administrative district in the state of Meghalaya, India. It is situated about 120 km from Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya. The district headquarters is located at Nongstoin. Khasi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,247 km², including 5,150.37 km² of rural area and 96.63 km² of urban area.
