Mon District, Nagaland

Mon District is an administrative district in the state of Nagaland, India. It is situated about 260 km from Kohima, the state capital of Nagaland. The district headquarters is located at Mon. Konyak (headhunting tribe) and Ao are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,786 km², including 1,775.50 km² of rural area and 10.50 km² of urban area.
