Mon District, Nagaland

Mon is an administrative district in Nagaland, India. The district is located about 260 km from Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Its administrative headquarters is in Mon. Konyak (headhunting tribe) and Ao are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,786 km², including 1,775.50 km² of rural area and 10.50 km² of urban area.
