Kapurthala is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Kapurthala is 1,633 km² including 1,543.37 km² rural area and 89.63 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kapurthala has a population of 8,15,168 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,82,462 while rural population is 5,32,706.
