Ludhiana District, Punjab

Ludhiana District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 100 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Ludhiana. Punjabi and Hindi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,578 km², including 3,256.10 km² of rural area and 321.90 km² of urban area.
