Alwar District, Rajasthan
Alwar is an administrative district in Rajasthan, India. The district is located about 150 km from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Its administrative headquarters is in Alwar. Hindi, Rajasthani and Mewati are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 8,380 km², including 8,146.42 km² of rural area and 233.58 km² of urban area.
